Meet Jean Lapper
Results Over Rhetoric for the North Country.
I’m Jean Lapper. I’m a small business owner, mother and community advocate who has spent the past 35 years in Queensbury working to make the North Country a better place for all of us.
Our region is neglected in Albany, and I’m running to change that. I raised my children here and have watched them leave the North Country. I want to see this area become a place where our children have opportunity. Our region deserves representation in Albany that fights for our community to get what they deserve, not just fighting over partisan politics.
Recent court decisions overturned Roe v. Wade and threaten our fundamental rights. I want to be a voice in our legislature that fights to protect women’s access to reproductive health care.
We need a Senator who will prioritize investing in small business, ensuring that the North Country has access to high-speed broadband, creating affordable housing and fully funding the child care resources that we deserve.
I’m running for State Senate to protect our region’s precious natural resources. Our land, our air, and our water are vital to our economy and our wellbeing, and they must be preserved for future generations of North Country residents.
